An Airbrush Tattoo is applied with an airbrush gun. A non-toxic paint is sprayed through a stencil onto the skin. The airbrush paint has been formulated by a qualified cosmetic chemist. It is alcohol based and all ingredients are cosmetic and food grade material being of a non-toxic nature. It is not a dye like henna but sits on the surface of the skin.

Airbrushed Tattoos are water resistant usually they can last anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks if taken care of properly. Airbrush tattoo last longer on dry skin compared to sweaty or oily skin. If a person has very oily skin, an Airbrush Tattoo will tend to not last as long as it would on a person with dryer skin. For obvious reasons, body oils will come through the skin under the paint, therefore ruining the adhesion properties of the paint. It also depends on where it is positioned on the body if applied where clothing may rub on the tattoo this will limit the life span. Keeping it dry and applying baby powder often will help it to last longer, If needed airbrush tattoo can be easily removed with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Airbrush Tattoos are the most realistic temporary tattoo on the market. Usually, you can’t tell the difference between an airbrush tattoo from a real tattoo.  There is a wide variety of colors and stencils to choose from.
